Anyone who has checked the site over the last few days will notice that I haven’t been keeping up with the Quotes of the Day. My apologies!
Over the last week I have been trying to iron out the ending for my first novel. After a lot of consideration – and the opinions of my friends and family – I (gulp) trashed the last few pages.
Right now I am working on further development of the antagonistic elements. At the same time, one of my supporting characters hasn’t been fleshed out enough.
So, in the hopes of figuring all of this out, I decided to step back and write the supporting character’s story in novella/anthology entry format. I’m 13,000 words in as of today.
So far this has been incredibly rewarding, and I have a ton of ideas about where to go with the novel length story line.
